The makers of “Ek Villain” are trying to keep the radar of expectations high by making the audience wonder who is the real villain in the movie — Sidharth Malhotra or Riteish Deshmukh?

If you think you are somewhat close to figuring out the real deal, read this.

Thickening the plot and heightening the curiosity, a blog revealed that Shraddha Kapoor is the menacing villain in the flick and not Sidharth or Riteish as is being widely speculated.

Says director Mohit Suri, “Little did I know that the villain hoodie would become such a rage. In fact I’ve been wearing one on my own from the first day of shoot. People have been asking me if the hoodies are up for sale. The intrigue level is soaring. In my head, everyone is a bit of a villain.”

Tanuj Garg, CEO-Balaji Motion Pictures, adds, “We’re enjoying the theories around the villain’s identity. But there’s much more to the film than just knowing who the villain is!”

Starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor, Ek Villain hits the theaters on June 27, 2014. Watch out for the real villain!
